Position: Business Analyst/Process Reengineer
Location: Remote; Washington, DC
Clearance: Public Trust TTC is seeking a Software Business Analyst to join our software product team working on various D365 and SharePoint efforts. As a Software Business Analyst, you will directly interface with product stakeholders to document business and functional software system requirements. You will elicit requirements in various ways, including interviews, observations, requirements workshops, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, and task and workflow analysis. Requirements you create, will be thoroughly reviewed with the software development team so that new value-add product features can be built to spec., require minimal to no rework, achieve the overall strategy of the product, and deliver features that delight customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with assigned software product managers to develop a deep understanding of their vision for the product and the product feature roadmap
Define and build feature requirements from start to finish with the ability to remain flexible to changing business requirements throughout the process
Create and maintain feature requirement documentation that is both visual and textual in nature, including mock-ups and wireframes
Participate in software product development sprint ceremonies including review, grooming, and planning sessions
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Perform business-level user acceptance testing as part of the software product release process
Be the subject matter expert for the features of each of the software products you are assigned
Collaborate and review the work product of other Software Business Analysts on your team
Assist product managers and sales engineering in developing the scope of new features required to win new projects or proposals
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 Years relevant experience Ability to gain/maintain a Certificate of Public Trust
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands within a SDLC process.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence Technical Skills:
Functional feature requirements writing
Jira issue and project tracking (or the like)
