Business Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None What You'll Get to Do: Seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the NMMES program in Norfolk, VA. In this role you will support scaled agile development projects. You will support documentation creation and modification. You will develop User Stories, test the software based on written User Stories, update existing documentation, and validate training material. Responsibilities: Engagement with the onsite customer. Requirements gathering Design discussions User community inquiries Supporting demonstrations with the user community. Collaborate with subject matter experts. Support test events in an integration test environment as well as systems test environment. Triage and adjudicate issues that are documented by the user community. Qualifications: Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen able to acquire a DoD Secret security clearance. Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. Entry Level to 3 years of business/systems analysis experience. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at report writing and presenting findings. Ability to use data to tell a story and accurately highlight progress toward established goals. Willingness and ability to experiment and invent new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customer. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner. Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes. Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively. Ability to perform successfully independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Desired: Experience in an agile development environment. Experience in a DoD environment. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
