Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically within Commercial Lines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application support and legacy system modernization, along with a deep understanding of underwriting and policy administration processes.

This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide application support in the Property & Casualty insurance domain with a focus on Commercial Lines, including Workers†Compensation, Audit, Auto, General Liability, Property, and Packaged Policies.
  • Leverage in-depth functional knowledge of underwriting and policy administration systems.
  • Lead or contribute to legacy application sunset and modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into functional requirements.
  • Engage and coordinate with regional teams while mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and internal teams.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational procedures and policies.
  • Identify and nurture the skills of team members to align with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate reliability and initiative while fostering a culture of customer service excellence.
  • Maintain strong ownership and responsibility for delivering high-quality support and service.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in supporting applications within the P&C Commercial Lines insurance domain.
  • Strong exposure to underwriting workflows and policy administration systems.
  • Experience with legacy system modernization and decommissioning.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience managing support teams and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Strong commitment to process adherence, service quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to work independently and inspire others through leadership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in business terms across multiple disciplines.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a customer-centric approach.
