We're on the hunt for a sharp, curious, and collaborative Business Analyst to help us level up our operations in the dynamic world of Property & Casualty insurance. As a key player on our team, you'll support strategic initiatives, analyze performance, and help drive innovation across systems and processes. You'll work cross-functionally with IT, compliance, and operations to ensure our business runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do:

Process & Project Optimization
  • Collaborate on initiatives to enhance business capabilities and streamline workflows.
  • Lead or support technology-driven projects from planning through implementation.
  • Maintain and improve change control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze operational and performance data to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Compile and summarize data for internal teams, business partners, and regulatory bodies.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Conduct testing of business operations and system changes to ensure alignment with insurance product requirements, profitability goals, and compliance standards.
  • Assist in maintaining system integrity and resolving technical issues.
Technology & Automation Awareness
  • Stay current on advancements in process automation and IT solutions.
  • Recommend system enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly across teams.
  • Propose data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes.
  • Provide responsive, high-quality support to external insurance clients and vendors.
What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry (underwriting, claims, or policy admin exposure preferred).
  • 1-2 years in business or systems analysis, with a focus on data interpretation and process improvement.
  • Bonus points for CPCU, AINS, or CBAP certifications (or progress toward them).
  • You know your way around compliance and regulation like a pro-navigating the insurance industry's rules and requirements is second nature.
  • You've worked with cross-functional teams (think IT, ops, compliance) and thrived in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
