Summary:


The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization's email migration project. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, ensuring seamless migration from legacy email systems to a modern platform. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution, risk mitigation, and compliance with security policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MQ1 Each Candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of written verifiable experience that demonstrates the Candidates have served as an IT Technical Business Analyst capacity or similar technical role supporting technology projects involving large scale projects for a large company or organization, ideally a public utility or government agency.
    Examples of acceptable verifiable documentation includes:
    • Reference letters for each Candidate from clients where technical project work was performed with contact information
    • Resumes for each Candidate proposed by the Proposer with detailed information describing work experience and qualifications
    • Detailed invoices
    • Detailed purchase orders
    • Detailed contracts
    The documentation must include the following details: (a) project scope, (b) project cost, (c) project start and end dates, and (d) client name and contact information.
    Supporting documentation for MQ1, must be included within the Written Proposal, must be titled "Minimum Qualification 1" AND must be submitted in PDF readable format. MQ2 Each Candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of written verifiable experience that demonstrates the Candidates have worked on email domain changes and email migration projects involving inbound/outbound email flow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for email migration.
  • Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless migration.
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to email system transitions.
  • Assist in change management, end-user training, and post-migration support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and industry best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Experience with email migration projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud email platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with large-scale IT migrations and change management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management.
  • Familiarity with data protection and cybersecurity policies.
  • Previous experience in government or enterprise-level IT projects.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) (Must)
  • ITIL Certification (Must)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (Preferred)
  • Google Workspace Administrator Certification (Preferred)
