They're seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical development, driving strategic insights and innovation.
What You'll Do:
Business & Data Analysis
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and improve financial products.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key insights.
Process & Risk Management
- Evaluate and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement mitigation strategies.
Project & Software Development Support
- Gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with QA teams.
- Maintain organized documentation of business processes and project progress.
Market & Industry Research
- Stay ahead of FinTech trends, competitive shifts, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align business and technical objectives.
- Present complex data and insights to non-technical audiences.
What You Bring:
Industry & Technical Expertise
- 3+ years of experience working with record keepers or vendors (e.g., FIS Relius/Omni, Ascensus, SS&C).
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and implementing system solutions.
- MUST HAVE Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the FinTech or financial services industry related to retirement services or solutions.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Scrum/Kanban).
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (CBAP, CFA) are a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
