Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Lake and Redshift environments. The BI Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling, ETL processes, dashboard development, and performance optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports to visualize business insights.
Work with large datasets in AWS Data Lake, Redshift, and other AWS data services.
Optimize ETL processes using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within AWS environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
Monitor and optimize Redshift clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
Implement data governance best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and dashboards.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Data Lake, Glue, Athena, and related AWS services.
Strong experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes within AWS environments.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization for AWS Redshift and large-scale data warehouses.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect).
Experience with data lake architecture and data cataloging tools.
Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics within AWS.
Experience with version control and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
Salary Range: $94,000 -109,000
