What you'll be doing - Analyze and document business processes, system requirements, and interactions essential for retirement benefits administration.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and refine business needs for system enhancements and new initiatives.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including requirements, user stories, and workflows.
- Support solution design, testing phases, and implementation activities.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct gap analyses and assess the impact of policy or regulatory changes.
- Provide data analysis and reporting to facilitate compliance, performance tracking, and informed decision-making.
Security & Compliance: - Support internal and external security and standards reviews.
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assist in developing security documentation and support security audits.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: - Contribute to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.
- Conduct business impact assessments and ensure plans align with operational needs.
- Participate in exercises and simulations to test and validate plans.
Vulnerability Management: - Coordinate system, application, and network vulnerability scans.
- Analyze scan results and support mitigation planning.
The right person has - A Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a senior business analyst or equivalent in the government or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in business process documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC, process modeling, and system testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with public pension or retirement systems.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Knowledge of state and federal retirement-related regulations.
