THE ROLE

We're looking for a highly capable and infinitely resourceful Agile Scrum Master/Operations Manager who enjoys

the excitement and challenges of building a new business while positively impacting the world. Candidates should

be self-starters who enjoy working as a team and are energized by a fast-paced environment.

Imetric is looking to incorporate Agile principles into their new organizational structure. The Agile Scrum

Master/Operations Manager will play a key role in establishing and supporting strategic initiatives spanning

marketing, sales, applications development, and educational course content development by enabling the Agile

way of working.

The ideal candidate will act as Scrum Master to multiple Teams and apply Agile practices, frameworks, techniques,

and behaviors to execute effectively and with quality. In addition, the individual will support strategic initiatives,

process optimization,and internal business reviews. You will be responsible for developing, championing,

governing, scaling, and measuring the success of our operations frameworks.

You will effectively create the environment and processes to frequently deliver high-value / high-quality programs,

improve collaboration, remove impediments, limit team distractions, and introduce new practices to drive

efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Drive the execution of internal projects and initiatives across business units and collaborating with

relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Establishes and standardizes the project-related governance processes and facilitates the sharing

resources, methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Develops framework and champions the consistent use of Agile techniques, tools, and standard

practices to deliver high-quality, priority work; improve transparency; enhance collaboration; and

increase efficiency.

Partner with Executive Leadership on emergent topics, meetings, and deliverables, including pulling

and consolidating relevant data, analyzing and summarizing trends and providing recommendations.

Define and supervise appropriate improvement targets together with management and functions.

Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is

making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.

Facilitates Agile events, including standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, sprint planning and

reviews. Uses Scrum & Kanban techniques to visualize & manage the work, identify impediments,

maintain WIP limits, and ensures the flow of work through the process.

Partners with Product and Business Owners and other team members to drive improvement using a

data-driven approach focused on experimentation and ensures teams are actively seeking out

opportunities for improvement.

Develops and manages Agile processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and executed with

excellence.

Understands team(s) capacity by tracking metrics that enable predictability and creates conditions for

the team to effectively plan and deliver.

Coaches, mentors and trains team members on Agile practices, processes, and behaviors while

remaining flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve workflow; actively

communicates learnings with Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 3 years as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach

Experience applying Agile principles in non-software/IT environment is preferred

Advanced knowledge of Agile values, principles, methodologies, specifically Scrum & Kanban

frameworks

Experience working in large, matrixed, complex organizations preferred

Advanced knowledge of Agile project management tools

Technically savvy.

Experience in organizational excellence and optimization of standards and processes. Previous

experience working on Agile transformations is a plus.

Outstanding interpersonal, presentation (written and verbal), influencing and process facilitation

skills.

A true team player, who is passionate about Agile and operational excellence.

Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org certified (Professional Scrum - PSM I, II or III or Certified, Advanced

Certified or Professional Scrum) is a plus.
