The Opportunity
As part of the America's team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Business Analyst. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Business Analyst who is responsible for analyzing data from various sources, managing databases, visualizing data, and providing insights to support decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect relevant data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and reliability. Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data as needed. Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity.
- Present complex data in a clear and meaningful way through visualizations such as Tableau dashboards. Help company stakeholders understand trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.
- Extract and compile data according to requirements, ensuring the outcome's accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Collaborate with key stakeholders to customize reports according to their preferences and requirements, enhancing the accessibility and usability of data insights. Generate both routine and on-demand reports, such as monthly performance reports, to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in data. This includes using tools such as regression analysis, clustering, and predictive modeling to uncover valuable insights.
- Work closely with other data analysts, business managers, product managers, etc., to understand their data needs and provide insights and recommendations. This requires effective communication and the ability to translate technical findings into non-technical terms. This position involves interaction with various business units in Mainland China, and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is an asset.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial. Document work progresses so that it can be understood and implemented by others.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong skills in analytical methodologies, understanding of databases, and/or spreadsheets, technical writing, quantitative analysis.
- 1 year+ experience in SQL.
- 1 year+ experience in Tableau.
- Knowledge of Python Pandas is a plus.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math or other Science.

Less than 20%

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
