Position: Business Analyst (Healthcare- Medicaid)
Location - Dallas, TX (onsite)
Duration - 6 months

Key Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in analyzing business requirements, building business cases, managing change, and applying technology.
- Experience in US Healthcare & Medicaid is a must. Knowledge/ Experience in Payment Integrity will be a plus
- Facilitate meetings with product module(s) team(s) to gather and document feature requirements and explore potential solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and develop solution specifications for proposed features.
- Construct user stories, analysis templates, feature specifications, mock-ups and user experience workflows.
- Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to implement new features.
- Test and validate user stories.
- Participate in team scrum cycle, including facilitating backlog grooming, supporting developers with analysis, and QA with acceptance criteria.
- Act as Product Owner (PO) on projects, developing problem statements, success criteria, definition of done, epics/stories, prioritized backlog, etc.
- Should be able to create reusable assets.
- Identify and make resourceful use of subject matter experts in project teams as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to document and communicate software requirements and feature prototypes.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity while under time constraints.
- Excellent documentation skills, including workflow documentation and diagrams.
- Demonstrates understanding of UX design principles.
- Experience with Medicaid regulations and business processes
- Conceptual understanding of MITA and experience on MMIS implementations will be a plus.
- Work experience in the current trends of US healthcare delivery models (provider, claims, third party liability, financial, portal, plan management, pharmacy, managed care) and determine the impact of healthcare reform on healthcare delivery & payment and should be an expertise in all the components of the revenue cycle, including patient engagement, billing, and collections.
- An ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in management, computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
- Experience in US Healthcare is beneficial.
- An ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts.
- Entrepreneurial in your approach and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have a sound understanding of the software development and software test lifecycle.
- Must have a sound understanding of the Agile methodology.
- Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people.
