Our client, a leader in Corporate & Investment Banking, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative AI-driven process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a disciplined approach to project management, and a deep understanding of financial products, which will align successfully in the organization.

5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Corporate & Investment Banking or Capital Markets with a strong knowledge within Capital Markets (Foreign Exchange, Commodities, and other Asset Classes).

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (On-Site Requirement: 3 days/week)

What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Corporate & Investment Banking or Capital Markets with a strong knowledge within Capital Markets (Foreign Exchange, Commodities, and other Asset Classes).
  • Proven ability to author comprehensive BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Proficiency with process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Jira).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
What's the Job?
  • Engage with subject matter experts in FX, commodities, credit, and other asset classes to elicit, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows for AI use cases such as credit memo automation and document extraction.
  • Author and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and minimal rework.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and walkthroughs; drive decisions and close open items promptly.
  • Coordinate hand-offs between business, UX/UI, and engineering teams; track deliverables and manage follow-up rigorously.
