ROLE: The Business Analyst works closely with Finance (AP & AR), the Sales team, and customers. They are responsible for investigating customer deductions, billing back for those found to be inappropriately taken, assisting Sales with maintaining customer programs, facilitating payments to customers on said programs, and customer pricing.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Analyze and validate deductions/short pays taken by customers
- Review, validate, and credit deductions that are honored with the appropriate backup
- Bill back for disallowed deductions and follow up until repayment or reach collections
- Review, accept, implement, and distribute contract agreements in Market Medium
- Process billing for overages, tooling, special circumstances, etc.
- Review and process monthly and quarterly rebate, marketing, promotional, and growth payments
- Evaluate and modify price discrepancies on orders before order is processed
- Maintain and update Oracle customer price lists in the event of a market adjustment
- Maintain and update customer excel price files in the event of a market adjustment
ROLE:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Associate's degree in business or finance, or 3 years of equivalent work experience preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of working in an Oracle ERP environment a plus
- Excel experience required
SKILL SETS: - Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, and follow up on open items
- Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data
- Advanced Excel skills, including but not limited to sorting, subtotaling, pivot tables, v-lookups
- Self-starter who thrives in fast paced environment
- Works well both independently and in a team environment
