We are looking for a Business Analyst/ Sr Business Analyst. The Business Analyst / Sr. Business Analyst will provide comprehensive project documentation and business analysis support across multiple initiatives. This role will involve engaging directly with business users to gather and document current ( "As-Is ") and future state ( "To-Be ") processes, define application dependencies, and deliver actionable improvement recommendations to support operational efficiency.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct business analysis activities, including documenting As-Is/To-Be processes and application dependencies.
- Track and manage all assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Support project and change management by creating and tracking change tickets through completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed business analysis documentation and process flows.
- Recommend process enhancements based on identified inefficiencies or issues.
- Assist project managers in interpreting user experience data and facilitating requirement development.
- Run meetings independently and document detailed meeting notes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to validate and refine business requirements.
- Provide support in updating project documentation and training materials as needed.
- Contribute to high client satisfaction by serving as a liaison between project teams and business users.
- Ensure controls, including security requirements, are integrated into solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Energetic and solution-driven with a strong passion for business analysis.
- Proven ability to manage tasks to completion independently.
- Expertise in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
- Experience with process design, documentation, and tools such as Visio (or equivalents).
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in third-party software implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to create business analysis deliverables including: Requirements documents, Use cases, Data dictionaries, Process diagrams, Meeting notes, Traceability matrices and, Business rules
- Experience in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Skilled in defining and documenting software requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in documentation best practices (revision control, versioning, unique identifiers).
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to continuously learn and share knowledge.
Preferred - IIBA certification.
- Familiarity with data flows related to complex systems.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience gathering and defining reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with Tableau and/or Alteryx.
