Our banking client is seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join their team. The client is looking for a Business Analyst / Data Analyst who has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Also MUST have a Business Compliance / Risk / Audit as it relates to the banking industry.
Job Title: Business Analyst / Data Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $50-53 per hour on Experis' W2
(Due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly. In addition, we are unable to do any kind of referral to a subcontractor for a W2 candidate.)
What's Needed? - MUST have a Business Compliance / Risk / Audit as it relates to the banking industry.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in business, process, or systems analysis within a complex regulated environment.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases, with experience in Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to gather and revise requirements based on user storyboards and provide detailed requirements to developers.
- Experience with defect tracking systems and familiarity with Horizon JIRA tool.
What's the Job? - Partner with Business Leaders, Product Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to define and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain compliance with appropriate standards and guidance to ensure full traceability from concept to delivery.
- Translate Business Requirements into System Requirements that are understandable and acceptable to IT developers and QA analysts.
- Assist with user acceptance testing activities and ensure developed systems are consistent with determined requirements.
- Drive User Story generation across business and technology teams to support a healthy backlog of capability development.
