DUTIES Job Overview: This position resides in theProperty Assessment DivisionofDepartment of Revenue.Duties include technical writing of administrative rules, including tracking and monitoring the status of rulemaking projects, news releases, and design of brochures and flyers. Oversee the design, content, and functionality of the department's intranet, and portions of the department's website. Review, evaluate, write, and edit the agency's publications to assess effectiveness of communications and recommend changes to content and presentation. Review existing forms and coordinate updates on an annual basis. Research and develop responses to issues to provide accurate and concise information to stakeholders. Responsible for the development of communication plans, programs, policies and procedures. Review and assist in project implementation of plans, goals and strategies. This position does not supervise other staff. /Knowledge of:/ Records management Business processes applicable to administrative rules, policies, and procedures Quality standards, procedures, rules, and statutes Website and intranet content standards Skills in:/ Technical Writing Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to provide research and analysis Microsoft programs and other data base applications Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication You would be a great fit for this position if you have: Demonstrate self-motivation Extremely organized Follow instructions Provide timely, customer service Handling multiple priorities under deadlines Working Conditions Work hours may exceed 40 hours from time to time, including weekends. Three year of job-related work experience. Preferred experience in property appraisal and assessment. Other combinations of education and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
