Job Purpose: We are seeking a
Business Analyst with a passion for data and analytics to join our team and manage high-quality data products for global planning and enterprise reporting. This role will involve collaborating with internal and external partners, ensuring that Converse Global Planning has the data it needs to drive the business. The ideal candidate will be involved in key strategic global projects, reviewing data quality, resolving issues, and translating data into actionable insights.
Requirements - Data Quality Management: Ensure that global and geo data products supporting dashboarding are accurate, monitoring data products, escalating issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Incident Management: Log, manage, and resolve tickets within an incident ticketing system, ensuring smooth data operations.
- Process Documentation: Document existing data maintenance processes, summarize current-state inefficiencies, and suggest process enhancements.
- Data Insights: Translate complex data and analytics into actionable insights to support business decision-making.
- Collaboration: Interface with both business and technical teams to ensure data requirements are met and communicate issues, risks, and decisions effectively to management.
- Global Projects Support: Assist with key global projects as needed, providing support in data-related initiatives and process improvements.
- Alerting and Monitoring: Proactively manage data alerting processes to ensure key data products are working as intended.
Qualifications & Skills: - Experience: 2+ years of experience working with complex global data products, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and problem resolution.
- Incident Management: 2+ years of experience logging, managing, and solving tickets within an incident ticketing system.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to translate data and analytics into actionable business insights.
- Documentation: Strong documentation skills to document data maintenance processes and identify inefficiencies.
- Attention to Detail: Proactively monitor data products and manage the data alerting process to ensure optimal functionality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Scrum & Agile Knowledge: Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles.
- Experience with Tools: Familiarity with Snowflake, Tableau, and Sigma is highly desirable.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
