Duties Serves as a Budget Analyst in the USAG Fort Belvoir Resource Management Office responsible for independently planning and carrying out program and budget functions. Resolves and interprets conflicting budgetary policies and regulations; reconciles conflicting budgetary and program objectives; and provides oversight of operational funds including civilian pay and reimbursable funds for major programs. Scope of work includes budget formulation, integration, submission, and execution phases with special emphasis on providing guidance to other directorates' budget representatives, junior analysts and/or budget technician(s). Utilizes knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of budgeting and accounting.
