Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Budget Analyst -Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal), to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Missile Defense Systems team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible. This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3. In this job, you will: Weekly and monthly monitoring of overhead, preparation/processing of commitments for overhead
Set up of overhead accounting for cost centers and cost elements, approval of iBuy carts and other expenses as required
Must have SAP and accounting skills, and be able to collaborate with FSC and Corporate as required
Must have skills in establishing and handling a large overhead budget, EAC/Rolling Forecast updates and variance analysis
Development, administration and reporting of Sector and Functional budget and staffing plans, including monitoring of budgets, performance reporting vs. plans, budget change processing and variance analysis If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team. Basic Qualifications: Level 2 - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience in Finance Analysis/Reporting and/or Budget Administration
- OR - Master's degree
Level 3 - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience in Finance Analysis/Reporting and/or Budget Administration - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience in Finance Analysis/Reporting and/or Budget Administration
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse (BW)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of FAR and GAAP
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Audit Experience
Financial reporting and accounting experience

Click the link below: Salary Range: $61,000.00 - $96,100.00Salary Range 2: $75,400.00 - $118,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
