Compensation: $65,000-$85,000 based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

The Opportunity:
Join a financially strong, highly respected community bank with over a century of local service and national recognition as a top agricultural lender. This is a newly created BSA Officer role-ideal for someone who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.

You'll take ownership of developing and leading the bank's BSA/AML compliance efforts while working closely with executive leadership. If you're a self-starter with a solid background in banking-compliance, operations, or lending-this is your chance to step into a visible leadership position where your work truly makes a difference.

What Makes This Role Stand Out:

  • Build and shape the BSA/AML function from the ground up

  • Report directly to bank leadership with a high degree of trust and support

  • Work for an independent, financially sound community bank with over $885 million in assets

  • Join a team that values local relationships, integrity, and personalized service

  • Be part of a bank consistently ranked among the top agricultural lenders in the country

  • Enjoy the benefits of a mission-driven, close-knit culture where your voice matters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program

  • Conduct ongoing monitoring, investigations, and suspicious activity reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date risk assessments, policies, and procedures

  • Collaborate across departments to support a strong compliance culture

  • Prepare for audits and regulatory exams, and respond to any findings

  • Stay current on all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices

What We're Looking For:

  • Banking experience required-compliance, operations, or lending preferred

  • Familiarity with BSA/AML and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and build processes from scratch

  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgment

  • Experience in a community bank or similar environment is a plus

  • BSA/AML or CAMS certification a plus, but not required

Why Join Us?
You'll be joining a bank that's deeply rooted in its community and forward-looking in its approach. With strong financial health, a culture of trust, and leadership that invests in its people, this is more than a job-it's a chance to lead, grow, and make an impact.
