Breast Imaging Radiologist

Salary Range: $400,000 - $500,000 Per Year Part-Time or Full-Time

Located in the vibrant, historic heart of downtown Brooklyn, TBHC is a clinical affiliate of Mount Sinai Hospital and an academic affiliate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. We offer a wide range of advanced services tailored to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Key Position Details:

Breast Imager

Onsite coverage

Part-time or full-time; 8am-4pm

Full-time 4 days/week; 8am-6pm with 3-day weekend possible

No nights or weekends

Flexible schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

Interpret all breast imaging modalities including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI

Perform imaging-guided breast procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound- and MRI-guided biopsies, and localizations

Communicate and document significant or critical findings in Radiologist-to-Physician discussions; provide consultative services to referring physicians and patients

Meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including MQSA; participate in educational and peer review activities as assigned by the Chair

Participate in quality improvement programs and clinical education

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O with active New York State medical license

Fellowship training in Breast Imaging

ABR Certified or Eligible

Ability to maintain privileges at TBHC and credentials with insurance and government plans

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven commitment to patient-centered care, with strong outcomes and high patient satisfaction
