Break Press Operator

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Break Press Operator
• Pay Rate Range: $20/Hour
• Location: Fridley, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, M-Th, 5:30am - 4pm, Friday would be OT when permitted.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire Break Press Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Good oral and written communication skills
3. Ability to read and interpret project documentation
4. Basic math skills
5. 2 years of break press or transferable experience
6. Willing to learn new skills
7. Ability to work well with others
8. Experience Setting up and changing tools
9. Must be able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
10. Regularly uses hands and fingers to manipulate a wide variety of high precision tools.
11. Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls, and reaches with hands and arms. Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift.
12. Good vision and hearing are required.
13. Must have moderate physical strength and stamina, hand-eye coordination and dexterity in hand manipulation and muscle coordination.

Break Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain a high level of machinery knowledge
2. Form metal parts according to project specifications
3. Track quantity and quality of work
4. Prep parts for next production steps
5. Ensure that the machinery is performing as intended
6. Keep a clean, orderly work area
7. Work safely and always wear personal protection equipment
8. Take instruction from shift leaders and more experienced operators
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
