About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Brand Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day content and brand visuals creation, marketing operations and storytelling for our Watersports Division, made up of Isle Paddle Boards and Oru Kayak. This role lives at the intersection of strategy and execution, owning everything from go-to-market campaigns and social content to retail activation support and brand collaborations.

As Brand Marketing Manager, you'll work cross-functionally with product, performance marketing, creative, and sales teams to bring our brands to life across every customer touchpoint. You'll project manage product launches, oversee creator content sourcing, run our social channels, and support our presence across both DTC and retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • Execute on-brand marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty
  • Evolve and maintain brand guidelines across visuals, tone, and messaging
  • Serve as the brand voice across all platforms-crafting and reviewing copy with a clear, compelling tone

Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Project manage the entire go-to-market process for product launches, collaborating closely with the product team and other marketing leads
  • Develop launch briefs, timelines, messaging frameworks, and supporting campaign materials
  • Ensure alignment across DTC and retail channels

Content & Social Media

  • Own the content calendar and strategy for all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Source and manage creator and influencer content in partnership with performance marketing
  • Direct and manage our in-house videographer/editor to ensure high-quality, story-driven content output

Collaborations, Sales Support & Retail Activation

  • Lead brand collaborations from concept through execution, in partnership with legal, product, and creative
  • Work with the sales team on retailer promotions, trainings, and activation support-ensuring brand consistency across B2B channels
  • Support in-store storytelling initiatives and provide creative guidance on retail materials

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor brand KPIs such as engagement, sentiment, and campaign performance
  • Share regular insights and recommendations with the broader marketing team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of brand marketing experience in DTC, consumer products, or lifestyle brands
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to own and drive complex launches
  • Demonstrated experience in social media, content creation, and creator/influencer strategy
  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling abilities-this role requires both strategic and creative thinking
  • Familiarity with retail marketing or supporting wholesale activations a plus
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
