Job description

To provide leadership to the branch by directing and managing all the daily functions of running a profitable store including sales, budgets, inventory control, personnel, expenses, branch administration and new business. This position is accountable for the Profit & Loss for its location and contributes to the overall profits of the company.

Key Responsibilities (partial list):
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct operational activities for the branch
  • Develop and manage annual branch operations to ensure profitability
  • Develop and implement a fiscal year branch sales plan with regional manager or general manager to include specific plan for top ten customers
  • Responsible for maximizing gross profit through customer price schedules Supervision of all employees: includes recruiting and hiring, planning and scheduling work, assigning work, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, promotions, coaching, & discipline
  • Work with outside sales managers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining acceptable profit margins
  • Enhance the Meier Supply work environment and culture with strict adherence to modeling our core values
  • Participate in after-hours (on-call) schedule and after hours training
  • Travel Requirement - May travel to corporate for branch manager meetings, to trade and/or industry conferences and training

Pay:
  • Starting at $75,000/annually + generous bonus (20% target bonus)
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Required - 5 or more years managing others in a sales or operational mgmt position
  • Required - Must have managed P & L's for business unit or company
  • Prefer 3-5 yrs HVAC and/or Refrigeration sales or operational experience
  • Bachelors or equivalent business experience
  • Proficient Computer Skills in MS office
