Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead one of our high-performing retail banking locations in the Florida region. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for overseeing all branch operations, driving business development, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a strong control environment. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse customer base and team.

The Branch Manager plays a critical role in representing the bank within the community, developing talent, and ensuring the branch delivers on performance and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of bankers, tellers, and customer service staff to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring regulatory and audit standards are met.
  • Create a welcoming, customer-focused environment that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and match them with the appropriate banking products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze branch sales performance and customer service metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to operational, compliance, and security protocols, including BSA/AML and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and take corrective action on any findings.
  • Represent the bank in the local community, fostering business relationships and participating in networking events.
  • Build relationships with small businesses and local organizations to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in retail banking, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or branch leadership role.
  • Proven ability to drive performance in sales, customer service, and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking products, consumer lending, and branch operations.
  • Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • High level of professionalism, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
