Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a successful and profitable DEM Sales Branch, including sales activities, personnel management, inventory control, and store operations. The role emphasizes leadership and a positive, customer-oriented approach to ensure growth and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Activities:
    • Drive sales growth and profitability through counter, telephone, and emergency service sales.
    • Develop yearly business plans to meet sales and profit targets.
    • Research and develop new sales opportunities within the local territory.
    • Occasionally visit customers to address motor, fan, or pump issues.
    • Handle special pricing and sales-related problems in coordination with the Branch Operations Manager.
  • Personnel Management:
    • Interview, train, mentor, and supervise branch employees.
    • Manage employee performance, including conducting reviews and addressing disciplinary actions.
    • Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and on-call coverage for emergency services.
    • Maintain a professional and positive work environment.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Ensure accurate inventory control through continuous cycle counting and reporting.
    • Coordinate seasonal inventory orders and ensure sufficient stock levels in the sales showroom.
    • Oversee accurate receiving and storage of inventory deliveries.
  • Store Operations:
    • Maintain a clean and orderly branch, including regular cleaning of floors, bathrooms, and outdoor areas.
    • Ensure outdoor signage and building systems (lighting, HVAC, etc.) are in proper working order.
    • Manage upkeep of equipment such as test benches and tools.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role and 5 years of experience in a service or production management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of HVAC, electric motors, and manufacturing processes. Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to work independently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, reading schematics, and diagrams. Ability to comprehend and communicate in English.


Compensation details: 24-30 Hourly Wage
