We're looking for a Boutique Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail boutique in Locust Valley. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a beautiful, fast-paced environment and enjoys creating an exceptional in-store experience.
You'll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly-managing staff schedules, overseeing inventory, supporting customers, and making sure the boutique is clean, organized, and always presentation-ready. You'll also work to fulfill online orders and monitor inventory flow. A key part of this role is coaching and supporting our existing team-helping them grow, stay motivated, and deliver amazing service. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, is accountable, and wants to be part of growing the business-contributing ideas, spotting opportunities, and helping us get better every day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the boutique
- Ensuring displays are tidy, shelves are stocked, and the space feels welcoming
- Managing team schedules and providing guidance, support, and direction
- Conducting stock counts, organizing inventory, and flagging reorder needs
- Overseeing e-commerce order fulfillment and shipping
- Jumping in during busy periods to assist customers and problem-solve
We're looking for someone who's proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in retail or hospitality-especially if you've supervised a team, led operations, or enjoy mentoring others.
This is a full-time role based primarily at the boutique in Locust Valley, with the potential for 1-2 work-from-home shifts per week depending on the season and what's happening in the business.
