We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Front Desk professional to join our team. This dual-role position requires a candidate who can efficiently manage bookkeeping responsibilities while also serving as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Process payroll, including tracking employee hours, tax filings, and benefits administration.
  • Manage daily banking transactions, deposits, and petty cash.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting as needed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and incoming calls, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and handle correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the front desk area is organized.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
  • Familiar with Sales/State Tax and Inventory
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role preferred.
Work Environment:
  • Office setting with a combination of administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.
  • Regular interaction with staff, clients, and visitors.
  • May require occasional overtime during peak financial periods.
