Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
About Us: We are working with a non-profit organization is dedicated to low income housing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and support our financial operations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities of Part-Time Bookkeeper: -
Process a high volume of accounts payable (AP), including vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and check requests.

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.

Assist with audits by providing necessary financial documentation and reports.

Generate reports and provide financial insights as needed.
Qualifications of Part-Time Bookkeeper: -
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles.
