Position: Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper will report to and support the Controller in maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records for over 100 entities. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.



Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Maintain QuickBooks in real time by recording daily financial transactions and updating the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for 30+ entities and individuals.
  • Organize and digitally file essential financial documents, including insurance policies, notices, and invoices.
  • Complete annual compliance filings, including 1099s and annual business licenses.
  • Assist the Controller with overall accounting tasks and financial reporting.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Controller.


What We Look for in a Bookkeeper:

  • Service-oriented personality with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Trustworthiness and discretion to handle confidential financial information.


Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
