Qualifications - Organized and friendly personality
- 2-5 years Flat Rate Technician experience in collision center
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Reynolds and Reynolds knowledge a plus
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background screening

Position Summary:
Repairs damaged auto body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Ensures that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently and that the Collision Center maintains a consistently high level of safety and customer satisfaction that is consistent with Route 24 Auto Group's core philosophies, principles, and values.
The Body Shop Technician will be held accountable to:
- Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs, and strategies are followed and executed effectively.
- Implement effectively all the duties, responsibilities, and requirements outlined in this job description.
- Set a professional standard that always reflects favorably on Route 24 Auto Group.
- Reports any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers, or employees to management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
- Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
- Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
- Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
- Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
- Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
- Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
