As the organization scales, they are in search of a talented
BMS Systems Integration Engineer to validate and ensure the seamless integration of their innovative battery software solutions in electric vehicles and other battery-operated devices. Candidates should possess outstanding technical skills, a strong customer-oriented approach, and practical experience with battery systems and electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth integration of embedded and cloud-based battery software solutions into various EV and battery systems.
- Collaborate with clients to effectively integrate BMS solutions into battery packs and vehicles.
- Design, conduct, and evaluate pack- and vehicle-level testing, correlating vehicle performance with battery output.
- Define, document, and clarify system-level requirements, constraints, and testing protocols.
- Provide on-site support for customer integration initiatives as necessary.
- Gather, structure, and analyze large data sets from vehicles during road tests.
- Work in close coordination with internal teams (battery algorithms, software products, customer support) to foster successful integration and testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, propose effective solutions, and innovate methods for systems analysis and verification.
- Enhance processes and integrate software quality standards to meet automotive industry compliance (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
- Encourage a culture of innovation, teamwork, and exceptional client service.
Industry Experience/Education: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems integration, vehicle testing, or validation within the automotive sector, particularly with EVs.
- Extensive knowledge in embedded software development and architecture for electric vehicles.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- In-depth understanding of battery systems, BMS validation, and EV technology.
- Demonstrated success in testing and validating software/control solutions in vehicle electrification or Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Experience with vehicle electrical architectures, CAN communication networks, and extensive automotive data systems.
- Familiarity with system modeling, model-based engineering tools, or model-based code generation is advantageous.
- A background in a dynamic start-up or venture capital/private equity-backed environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred but not mandatory).
