Provide excellent guest service while explaining bingo games, selling product, and making winner pay-outs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist guests with cashier and floor purchases, validate bingos, facilitate games, verify and complete payouts, answer guest questions, and maintain paperwork
  • Must be able to handle high-volume guest interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful
  • Build guest relations throughout every session by talking with guests and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back
  • Observe all activity within assigned area while actively completing work assignments
  • Knowledgeable of the various bingo game types available in order to answer questions
  • Handling routine guest disputes and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
  • Utilize open body language to communicate a willingness to assist
  • Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department and property standards
  • Assist in maintaining a spotless hall by cleaning and resetting the area as well as disposing of any trash
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same
  • Familiar with Title 31 guidelines and understands and utilizes suspicious activity reporting (SAR) when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Display professionalism; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
  • Available to work required schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct customer contact experience
  • Previous money handling experience
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and grip items
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours)
  • Have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast-paced business practices
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Must be able to tolerate areas with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
  • Must be able to meet the level two or light work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 force frequently
