Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator to support assist in the creation, evaluation, and distribution of 3D BIM and 2D drawings for healthcare, academic, and research facilities within an integrated Architectural and Engineering practice.
Position Responsibilities:
• Full-time BIM Support within the Digital Practice group.
• Provide technical support for BIM software and workflows.
• Assist in expanding the firm's BIM organization.
• Support productivity goals and maintain design quality.
• Engage with Revit User Groups (RUGs) and the BIM Manager to address needs and concerns.
• Help develop and maintain firm-wide BIM standards.
• Lead development and management of discipline Revit templates.
• Ensure the quality and interoperability of discipline content libraries.
• Develop and maintain a BIM Execution Planning template, including project plans and external BIM content transfer.
• Coordinate advanced BIM processes like laser scanning and clash detection.
• Lead BIM kick-off meetings and support project teams with BIM model creation and standards implementation.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews for BIM models and develop guidelines.
• Assist with clash detection and resolution.
• Automate routines in BIM to improve standards and productivity.
• Support in-house training for software features and standards.
• Assist with BIM software installations and IT projects.
• Provide timely BIM support and communication.
• Research and recommend new software for design technology trends.
Requirements:
• Professional degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management
• 3+ years' experience in BIM/CAD coordination or in design/drafting
• Extensive knowledge of A/E/C industry processes and typical design project life cycle
• Understanding of design and facilities management trends, including Integrated Project Delivery, LEAN, Sustainable Design, BIM/LOD requirements etc.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit. Knowledge of BIM360/ACC services preferred.
• Scripting / Dynamo experience a plus.
• Understanding of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) a plus.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revizto, or any Rendering Software.
• Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office software, including Office 365 and Teams

Location:
This role is based in our Philadelphia, PA headquarters with four (4) days per week on-site and a flexible, hybrid work schedule.
