Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a strong proficiency in 3D scanning and drone operations for data collection. Key Responsibilities:
BIM Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to manage and implement BIM processes, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
3D Scanning: Operate 3D scanning technology to capture accurate site measurements and details for integration into BIM models.
Drone Operation: Fly drones to capture high-resolution aerial imagery and data for modeling and surveying purposes.
Model Management: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and coordination of BIM models, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve any BIM-related issues and maintain project progress.
Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to support project needs and documentation.
Quality Control: Perform checks and quality assurance on BIM models, scanning data, and drone data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-5 years of experience working with BIM systems, 3D scanning, and drone operations for construction or architecture-related projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), 3D scanning equipment, and drone software/hardware (e.g., DJI, Trimble).
Knowledge: Solid understanding of BIM processes, 3D scanning technology, and the use of drones for site surveying and data collection.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: Excellent ability to focus on details and ensure accuracy in all aspects of modeling, scanning, and drone operations.
Certifications: Drone piloting certification (e.g., FAA Part 107) preferred but not required.
Education: Degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
