Job Description: Boutique Personal Injury Firm seeks a Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal is bilingual in Spanish (native/professional proficiency), possesses their Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate, and has demonstrated experience with case management from intake to trial.


Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal Job Duties:

  • Draft and organize legal documents, including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and trial-related documents such as witness lists, exhibit lists, and jury instructions.
  • Timely and accurately e-file legal documents with federal and state courts while adhering to local rules and guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain case files in CasePeer and Dropbox, ensuring all documents and information are accurately recorded and accessible.
  • Schedule and manage attorney calendars, coordinating court appearances, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and other litigation-related matters.
  • Assist with trial preparation by preparing trial binders, exhibits, and coordinating witness and expert scheduling.
  • Support expert discovery by assisting attorneys with expert designations, scheduling, organizing expert files, and coordinating expert depositions.
  • Communicate with clients and medical providers to ensure appropriate treatment and obtain necessary medical records.
  • Work with accounting to ensure case-related expenses are properly documented and paid.
  • Proactively manage caseload by working closely with attorneys to support active cases and ensure deadlines are met.

Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury required
  • Bilingual in Spanish, strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with CasePeer and Microsoft Office strongly preferred
  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
