Join Sherwin-Williams as a Bilingual Retail Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the vital link between our wholesale and retail customers and our high-quality products. Your mission is to ensure customer satisfaction by understanding their needs, providing expert advice, and resolving any concerns promptly.
As a key team member, you will also contribute to achieving store sales goals while maintaining the visual and quality standards that our brand is known for. Your customer interactions will not only involve recommendations but also include sales transactions, stocking products, and assisting with inventory control. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, as well as a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver outstanding customer service through effective sales support.
- Engage with customers both in-person and via phone to assess their needs and present suitable products.
- Establish trusting relationships with customers at all levels.
- Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Maintain organized work order files and product specifications.
- Retrieve and prepare products for customers accurately from the sales area or warehouse.
- Tint and mix products as per customer requirements.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Assist with the maintenance of store equipment and cleanliness.
- Support delivery operations as needed.
- Stay informed of product offerings to discuss options effectively.
- Suggest improvements for sales and customer experience.
Minimum Requirements: - At least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communication in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: - Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Experience selling paint and related products.
- Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
