POSITION SUMMARY

As a Registered Client Service Associate this position is the point of contact for all account service-related needs of a Banorte Wealth Management client. This position is responsible for establishing, maintaining and building client relationships. The position is expected to maintain a team-oriented environment interacting with Wealth Advisors, Compliance, AML and Operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated client experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide high quality, high touch service to Banorte Wealth Management clients across the various solutions.
  • Manage daily client inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
  • Research, follow-up and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, advisors, operations areas and other staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage general account inquiries and maintenance, including but not limited to solutions.
  • Coordinate and follow through on account inquiry, transaction and maintenance requests across products and services.
  • Assists Wealth Advisors with efficient, quality client service.
  • Extensive contact with internal and external customers to identify, research, and resolve problems.
  • Interact routinely over the phone and in person with prospective and existing clients including handling basic inquiries.
  • Processes and follows up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts.
  • Prepares letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist Wealth Advisors.
  • Creates and maintains records and files.
  • Ensures required client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains client information and creates reports using proper software programs.
  • Participates in and receives cross-training, as well as assists with other operational functions as required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • College degree preferred.
  • General office practices, procedures, and methods.
  • Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
  • Financial markets and products.
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Analyzing to be able to research account information.
  • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
  • Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 65 and 63) securities licenses required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Bilingual in English and Spanish required.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Strong quantitative analytical skills. Skill in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Skill in accurately copying, posting, or transcribing data.
