The Bilingual Professional Development Manager designs, implements, and manages learning and development programs. This role promotes employee growth and ensures that the recipient, directly operated, partner, and sub-recipient staff have the skills to excel. The Professional Development Manager creates impactful training initiatives to contribute to Early/Head Start Network (EHSN) success.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Professional Development you will:

Design, develop, and facilitate effective training programs in Spanish and English: Collaborate with Early/Head Start Network Staff to identify training needs, create learning objectives, and design engaging and interactive training programs for directly operated, partner, and sub-recipient staff.

Implement learning and development initiatives. Plan, coordinate, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to recipients, directly operated, partners, and sub-recipients.

Evaluate training effectiveness: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of training programs, collecting feedback from participants and stakeholders to measure the impact and effectiveness of the initiatives.

Develop learning materials and resources: Create and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, online modules, and multimedia content, ensuring they are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.

Utilize technology for learning: Leverage learning management systems and other e-learning platforms to deliver online training modules and track recipients, directly operated, partners, and sub-recipients' progress and completion.

Create and oversee the EHSN professional learning plan. Identify, develop, and provide additional training determined by surveys, emergent issues, and other EHSN Training and Technical Assistance needs.

Aggregate and analyze multiple data sources to develop individual and program-wide professional development activities and events, which support the agencys school readiness goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with department managers, People & Culture, and other key stakeholders to identify skill gaps, align training programs with organizational goals, and ensure training needs are met.

Ensure training programs comply with funder regulations and standards. Generate reports and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

Masters Degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently.

Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience.

Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.

Working knowledge of early childhood education, Head Start, and ability to implement best practices and policies according to government mandates and organizational practices.

Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills and excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.

Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored programs.

Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong project and time management abilities.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and innovative approach to training.

Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.

Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with racially and ethnically diverse communities and staff.

Exceptional interpersonal skills include listening, dialoging, and responding inclusively.

Base Annual Salary: $89,000.00-$100,000.00

Grade: 17

As of the time of this posting, this is the expected base annual salary range. The base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, as well as business needs and limitations.
