A leading law firm is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented
Bilingual Legal Administrative Coordinator to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support attorneys and legal staff with essential administrative tasks while facilitating smooth communication with Spanish-speaking clients. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to attorneys, including document preparation, filing, and case management.
- Assist in translating and interpreting legal documents, correspondence, and communications with clients in both Spanish and English.
- Coordinate scheduling of meetings, depositions, hearings, and court dates with precision.
- Manage client intake efficiently, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and organize case files (both electronic and physical) for easy retrieval of information.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and expense tracking as required.
- Conduct basic legal research and compile pertinent case-related information.
- Ensure compliance with court filing procedures, including both electronic and paper filings.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
Education & Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role preferred.
Compensation: $25 - $30/hr.
