Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and relationship-oriented Key Account Manager based in Dallas or Houston to lead and expand our strategic partnerships with major retail chains including Fiesta, Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B, El rancho, and others. This role will be critical in managing key customer relationships, driving sales performance, and ensuring strong execution at the store level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage relationships with key retail accounts, including Fiesta, Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B, Sellers, and other strategic partners.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales growth, brand expansion, and category leadership.
- Analyze performance data and customer trends to identify opportunities and address gaps.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure seamless product execution and in-store excellence.
- Execute promotional programs and new product launches tailored to each account's needs.
- Conduct business reviews and present results, forecasts, and growth strategies to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with planograms and promotional execution in stores.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends within key accounts.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in food & beverage, CPG, or distribution.
- Proven experience managing large retail accounts and growing sales.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Willingness to travel between Dallas, Houston, and customer locations.
