Our client is seeking a bilingual HR Administrator to support HR operations by managing employee records, assisting with onboarding and benefits, and effectively communicating with employees in both English and Spanish. This role is on-site in midtown Manhattan four to five days a week depending on business needs.

Our client is open to candidates coming from an entry-level or internship role in HR or admin in the financial services space.

Client Details

Our client is a prominent investment firm that operates as a family office. They have about 200 employees globally with headquarters in New York City. The HR Admin will sit out of their NYC office and report into the Chief Administration Officer. This person MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate will have entry-level or internship experience in administration or HR-related roles in the financial services sector. This person must be on-site in midtown Manhattan four to five times a week depending on business needs.

The Bilingual HR Admin will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. They will assist with employee records, compliance, reporting, and support the day to day operations.

This role requires extreme organization with effective follow-up and follow through, as well as discretion. Excel skills, like the ability to build pivot tables, is highly desired.

Description


  • Managing employee records: Updating and maintaining accurate HR databases, personnel files, and documentation.

  • Onboarding new hires: Coordinating background checks, preparing offer letters, setting up employee profiles, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.

  • Compliance and policy enforcement: Ensuring HR processes adhere to labor laws and financial industry regulations, and assisting in audits or internal reviews.

  • Employee support: Responding to general HR inquiries, assisting with time-off requests, and helping resolve minor workplace issues.

  • Scheduling and coordination: Organizing training sessions, performance reviews, and HR-related meetings or events.

  • Proactive and dependable, able to work independently and support a busy HR team.
