As a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a key role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers in identifying their needs, answering queries about our products, and suggesting the best solutions. Your responsibilities will also include resolving customer concerns promptly and ensuring their satisfaction, while maintaining the high quality and visual standards of our offerings.
You will be engaged in various activities, such as:
- Providing outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by accurately determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
- Establishing and nurturing productive relationships with customers.
- Processing sales transactions in compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
- Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
- Stocking shelves and setting up attractive displays.
- Keeping store equipment clean and in working order.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks as necessary.
- Assisting with deliveries as required.
- Maintaining an organized and presentable condition in assigned areas.
- Staying informed about product offerings and available options.
- Complying with inventory control procedures.
- Proposing ideas to enhance sales.
We are located at: 202 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542, and the selected candidate will be expected to work at stores within a 10-mile radius of this location.
Minimum Requirements: - You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.
- You must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
- You must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- You should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You must be available to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: - A High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Experience in selling paint and paint-related products.
- Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
