This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Sherwin-Williams products. Your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any concerns to achieve maximum client satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for staying informed about product features, maintaining the visual standards of our products and store, and helping to reach our sales objectives.

Job duties include interacting with customers, which may involve minors, and handling cash and payment methods, as well as accessing other valuable items. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect our business and the safety of customers, staff, and the general public.

Position Type: Part-Time, with hourly pay starting at $18.00.

Essential Duties:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assist customers in-person and over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting suitable products.
  • Build trusted relationships with retail and wholesale customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and according to company policies.
  • Achieve sales goals on monthly, quarterly, and yearly timelines.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Prepare products by tinting and mixing to customer specifications.
  • Keep store areas stocked and visually appealing.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as necessary.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss options with customers.
  • Propose suggestions for improving sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have authorization to work in the country without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in customer service, retail, or delivery.
  • Experience with paint and paint-related products.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
