Join our team as a Bilingual Retail Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our retail and wholesale customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your primary goal will be to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction while also achieving the store's sales objectives.
You will be based in our Store , located at: 4150 Lafayette Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46254. This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $17.05/hr.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service through effective sales techniques.
- Engage with customers in person and over the phone to assess their needs and suggest suitable products and services.
- Build strong relationships with both retail and wholesale customers.
- Accurately process transactions following company policies and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain organized and precise work order files and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse and ensure quality presentation.
- Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
- Restock shelves and set up appealing displays.
- Keep store equipment clean and assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and attractive store layout for assigned areas.
- Stay informed on product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
- Adhere to inventory control measures and suggest improvements for sales.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish.
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Experience selling paint and related products.
- Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
