Join our team as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish) and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction while helping to achieve our sales goals. You will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer inquiries about our products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your knack for problem-solving will be essential as you promptly address customer concerns and uphold high visual and quality standards for our products.

This position requires direct contact with customers, including minors, and involves access to cash, electronic payment systems, and personal information. To ensure safety and protect the reputation of our business, a criminal history review is necessary.

As part of this role, you may work at any location within a 30-mile radius of the store located at: 739 State Highway 28, Oneonta NY 13820.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through effective sales service
  • Assist customers both in-person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting suitable products
  • Build trustworthy relationships with our wholesale and retail customers
  • Accurately process sales transactions according to company policies
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales objectives
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas
  • Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse as required
  • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications
  • Keep shelves stocked and displays organized
  • Perform routine cleaning of store equipment
  • Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks
  • Help with deliveries as needed
  • Ensure all areas are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing
  • Stay informed on product offerings and available options
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • Experience in selling paint or paint-related products
  • Familiarity operating tinting and mixing equipment
