As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will provide a wide variety of services to funeral homes funeral home preneed counselors, agents, marketing organizations, account executives, and policy owners with a focus on supporting Spanish-speaking customers, policy owners, and agents in both oral and written communications. You'll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues to help our customers and the families we server together.
- Provides highly responsive, time-sensitive, high volume, customer-oriented service designed to enhance company relationships across internal and external individuals.
- Receives and responds to Spanish (primary) and English (secondary) language telephone inquiries.
- Provides information and services related to new business, claims, policy information and policy changes. etc.
- Translates and provides written communication received in Spanish and English.
- Assist agents and funeral homes with on-line services including enrollment, reporting, administration, system navigation.
- Work with agents and customers to resolves issues to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Assist with commission and compensation questions from customers.
- Conduct system testing to help ensure integrity of files and proper underwriting are within limits.
Requirements
- Equivalent to high school degree
- Completion of a two-year associate degree program in a job-related field is preferred.
- Completion of LOMA courses in Principles and Operations within two years of employment.
- Demonstrated fluency in both Spanish and English with both oral and written communication.
- 1-3+ years of customer service experience in a financial services organization, preferably life insurance, involving extensive in-bound and out-bound phone work.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products: Outlook and Word
- Experience on a LifePro office administration system preferred.
