As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for both new and existing customers, addressing their insurance inquiries with professionalism and care. You will deliver an exceptional customer service experience that fosters trust and encourages loyalty.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Actively seeking resolutions for customer concerns and elevating issues to the appropriate level when necessary.
- Communicating information clearly and effectively to cater to customer needs.
- Aiming for first call resolution to ensure a top-notch service experience.
CSRs are expected to maintain current knowledge of all procedures and products to meet department standards, including Schedule Adherence, Quality Assurance, and Average Handle Time.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in multitasking across various systems.

Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent; additional college education is a plus.
- Property/Casualty Insurance License preferred (must secure license within 90 days if not already licensed).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
- 1+ years of experience in insurance sales/service preferred; customer service experience required.
- Proven track record of job stability and attendance.
- Familiarity with remote work environments is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills and ability to write clearly.
- Must possess US Work Authorization; no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $20 - $23.00/hour, depending on experience and education. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekends and holidays anticipated.
Work Location: This position might be Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) if you are near a Markel office or 100% remote if located outside of office areas.
