As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your role will involve addressing customer concerns promptly and ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction. Staying updated on product features while maintaining our quality standards is essential, as well as contributing to the store's sales goals through exceptional service.

This position involves customer interaction, including minors, and access to cash and valuable items, which may be conducted under supervision. To safeguard our operations and the well-being of our customers and staff, a criminal history review is required.

The successful candidate will work at stores within a 10-mile radius of store , located at: 3460 Emmorton Rd, Constant Friendship Shopping Center, Abingdon, MD 21009.

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Assist customers both in-person and over the phone, identifying their needs and suggesting appropriate products.
  • Build trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to company policies.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve and prepare products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves and set up attractive displays.
  • Keep store equipment clean and functional.
  • Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
  • Help with deliveries when necessary.
  • Maintain designated areas in a neat and presentable condition.
  • Stay knowledgeable about products and options available.
  • Follow inventory control procedures.
  • Propose improvements for enhancing sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be available to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Knowledge of tinting and mixing equipment.
