As a Bilingual Customer Service Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English will help meet customer needs, answer product questions, and recommend the best solutions. We prioritize customer satisfaction and expect you to resolve any concerns promptly while keeping up-to-date with product offerings and maintaining the store's high visual standards.

This position involves direct contact with customers, including minors, and provides access to various payment methods and store merchandise. A background check will be conducted to ensure safety for all customers and team members.

The position requires working at locations within a 22 mile radius of Store located at: 80 Morristown Rd Unit 26, Bernardsville, NJ 07924.

  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Assist customers in person and via phone by identifying needs and suggesting suitable products
  • Build strong relationships with customers
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
  • Maintain detailed work order files
  • Select products from sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Restock shelves and organize displays
  • Keep store equipment clean and maintained
  • Assist with deliveries as needed
  • Ensure all assigned areas are well-presented and in stock
  • Stay knowledgeable about product options and solutions
  • Adhere to inventory control standards
  • Proactively suggest sales improvement strategies
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship
  • Effective communication abilities in English and Spanish
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in retail or customer service
  • Experience selling paint and related products
  • Prior experience with tinting and mixing equipment
